Three years ago Todd was introduced to an unreached people group while working in a remote medical clinic in eastern Kenya. It was a powerful and life changing experience and he wasn’t home long before he started planning for a return trip, this time with his family.

Since that time they have been patiently waiting to return for an exploratory trip and to introduce their family to the Orma people. Despite many delays, God opened the door for their departure in March!

What the MacLures were involved with while in Daba:

  • Working in 2 medical clinics: Daba and Titilla Dispensary
  • Primary care/urgent care , immunization, antenatal services, supplemental feeding programs.
  • Helping to complete the nurses house in Titilla.
  • Share the good news of Christ Jesus to the Orma people through home visits and sharing meals.
  • Learning the basic language of the Orma people.
  • Serving as a family with a singular purpose, showing love as Christ has shown us.

MacLures have now returned from Kenya and are back living in Alberta.
