Preparing to serve in Torit, South Sudan on a short term assignment for 4 months. Will primarily be supporting the missionary field team with a range of tasks in construction, maintenance and logistical support. Expected tasks include 4×4 vehicle maintenance, maintaining or fixing solar, transporting materials to locations, building or fixing housing, plumbing and water systems maintenance, teaching 4×4 driving to new missionaries, helping missionaries with projects, etc. Opportunities also for building relationships with the locals and learning Sudanese Arabic.
