Carol and Doug Cleveland

Serving with AIM Canada at Rift Valley Academy in Kijabe, Kenya

Carol will be working as a Spiritual Life Chaplain, supporting staff and students at the Rift Valley Academy (RVA). Some of Carol’s responsibilities include:
– Empower individuals and the community; stretching them in the use of their spiritual gifts and talents in ministry.
– Provide resources, teaching and opportunities for individual and the community to grow in Christ.
– Provide open, safe spaces for questions about spiritual topics.
– Facilitate staff spiritual life care programs and events.
– Provide support and pastoral care for staff to share, make connection with, be debriefed or coached and support in crucial times.
– Organize regular staff gatherings for the purpose of fellowship and refreshment, with staff retreats as necessary.

Doug will be focusing on working with the maintenance team and blessing the men and the Kenyan staff team in operations, with spiritual encouragement. He will also engage in off-campus outreach.
