Dita and Dan began serving with AIM in Kijabe, Kenya from August 2003 to July 2012:
- Dan worked as a pediatric surgeon and started pediatric surgical training in association with Bethany Kids and PACCS.
- Dita: Roles included teaching clinical nursing and starting Infection Prevention and Control in Hospitals in Kijabe Hospital in Kenya
- Ministry included discipling nationals and partnering with a local church in Ndabibi Kenya
From October 2012 until May 2014 they served in Ethiopia:
- Seconded to SIM and in partnership with Myung Sung Medical Center (Korean Church) in Addis Ababa
- Dan: Started Pediatric Surgical Divisions – Bethany Kids Program in the Myung Sung Medical Center
- Dita: starting Infection Prevention and Control Program and Division in Hospital in Myung Sung Christian Medical Center, Addis Ababa, Ethiopia
- Ministry included discipling nationals, working with a national church and doing short term trips to the Horn
They arrived in back in Montreal in May 2014 where Dita accepted the role of Provincial Mobilizer for Quebec in 2015:
- Work- chairing Friends of Africa committee and meetings for the purpose of prayer for AIM and missionaries, support, and sharing about mission opportunities. Visiting churches and sharing about AIM work and mission opportunities.
