Georgina served in Kenya from August 1982 – December 1987 as Finance and Office Manager for the AIC  Christian Education Office, also helping with finances in the other departments on the station.   She had intended to go to Tanzania in December 1988, but due to complications with the work permit, she spent time taking a refresher course in Kiswahili and then moved to Tanzania in March 1989 to teach Bible in the primary schools. Throughout her time in Tanzania she taught Bible and trained teachers to teach in the primary schools.

It wasn’t long before Georgina got involved with finances again, and she became responsible for the finances of AIM Tanzania and later Majahida Bible School.  She also served as the bookkeeping advisor and completed internal audit reviews for other missionaries and departments of AIC Tanzania through September 2000.

Georgina served as the Maritime Provincial Mobilizer for AIM Canada from 2000 – 2011, and then in September 2011 moved to Madagascar to serve as the Finance and Office Manager of AIM Madagascar up until 2015.  At that time, she began to train a Malagasy Finance Manager and Office Manager to take her place.

From 2018 until retirement, she has served as the Office Supervisor, teaching English, and leading Bible Studies – as well as translating  Bible Study notes into Malagasy.

Georgina retired from full term service with AIM Canada in December 2022.
