Preparing to serve with AIM Canada in East Africa

Stephanie has joined AIM Canada as a short-term missionary with the Medi-Quest program (June 2024), providing medical support in East Africa. Stephanie will also be potentially extending to serve as a nurse in Kenya or Tanzania.

Stephanie has been a Registered Nurse for 6 years and currently works on an orthopaedic trauma unit.  While Stephanie was raised in Canada, her parents were missionaries with AIM in the 1990s and she was born in Kijabe, Kenya. Two years ago, Stephanie felt her own calling to pursue missionary work in the medical field. She believes that providing medical care is a practical way to show and share God’s love with others. Stephanie hopes that her time serving with AIM will help her discern where God may be calling her. She is eager and open to following God’s leading, wherever that may be.
