After working in Pakistan for 24 years, Terry began serving the Ethiopian Church as a global missions coach in 2018. Based in Canada, he has been making regular extended trips to Ethiopia to support the Church in its vision of reaching the unreached, both within Ethiopia as well as abroad. After Terry and Joanie joined AIM in July 2022, Terry’s role of organizational coach and mentor expanded to include several denominations and missional organizations. His involvement in leadership development also broadened to include a new initiative called The African Leadership Journey. Drawing on a 10-year process of mentored leadership development, The African Leadership Journey is designed to prepare young emerging Ethiopian leaders to serve as kingdom minded global leaders with godliness and competence.
Joanie serves as Administrative Assistant and Child Safety point person for the Northern Region, a role she enjoys immensely.
Terry and Joanie have 3 adult children (all married), 4 grandchildren, and one more on the way.

This account helps cover expenses for our transition to Germany: flights, excess baggage, setup costs, and an orientation time in Kenya.
Travel Fund
Presently based in Canada, Terry makes at least four extended trips per year to Ethiopia for his coaching and mentoring engagements. He also travels internationally for some of the trainings he’s involved with. This project assists with those costs.
African Leadership Journey
Beginning with a group of college-age professionals, the African Leadership Journey is a life-on-life mentoring journey over a 10-year period. Its goal is to develop godly, competent, kingdom-minded, global leaders.
