Tom and Shelley were accepted as members with AIM Canada in August 1, 2001. From April 2002 to April 2004 they served as members of a TIMO team on Mayotte in the Comoros Islands working amongst the Kibushi people.
From April 2004 to May 2012 they served as Church planters on Mayotte.
They then moved to Tanzania in August 2013 and served in Dar Es Salaam in multiple roles: Team Leaders, Guest House Manager, Logistics Officer, and Regional Teams Officer up until March 2020.
Currently, Tom and Shelley are living in Ontario and serving as Provincial Mobilizers, with Tom also serving in the role of Property Manager in AIM Canada’s Home Office, and Shelley in a Coaching role.
Tom and Shelley have three children: Willem, Andrew and Clara.
